
ALL participants must register in advance.
NOTE: The Parade Committee reserves the right to refuse participation of any entry deemed inappropriate for a family-oriented community event.
This year's theme is: "Sand, Sea & 250 Years of Liberty!"
All parade participants are required to design and decorate their entry to honor the Fourth of July holiday and are encouraged to reflect this year's Parade theme.
Check-in opens at 10 am
Location: City Hall on Manzanita Ave (between Division and Classic St)

Judging begins at 12pm
If you are competing, you must be checked in and in place no later than 12:00 pm when judging begins. All entries must decorate according to the parade theme.This year's theme is: " Sand, Sea & 250 Years of Liberty!"
Parade judges will focus on the visual design, creativity, and reflection of the year’s theme in order to select winners; judges will NOT view nor wait for ‘performances’ by participants during the pre-parade judging ‘walk-around’.
Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the categories of Floats, Cars, and Walkers/Bikers/Carts, and 1st place for Kids’ Award and Committee Choice Award.

IMPORTANT: If you haven't sent us your proof of insurance, please make sure you do! YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO MARCH WITHOUT PROOF OF INSURANCE. You can give us a copy at check-in if you’d like but please let us know if you plan to provide documentation the day of so we can prepare accordingly.
Proof of insurance is only necessary for FLOATS, CLASSIC CARS, and GOLF CARTS.

As a participant, your specific position in the parade order cannot be planned in advance nor guaranteed; while the Chief Marshal will make every effort to put participants with music as part of their float in an appropriate position, please understand that your music may not always be audible to the audience along the parade route.
